Later you find out some of it was not true. but even today I keep hearing the Republicans wanted to stop unemployment payments for the unemployed. Instead the main stream should have reported that they thought the president and others should cut some pork out of the trillions budget to cover this. As it turned out no pork cut so lobbyists won out.

i actually saw a clip of some person in Congress saying the republicans wanted to stoop its. But this is an elected politician that knows it is a lie and just starting trouble and the station it was on brought this to light.

I have lived here for 43 years, to honestly think that they (major news networks) have no agenda is just plain naive. The most blatant example of this would be to watch Dan Rather's election coverage just before he was fired... Despicable to say the least. Now, only those less obvious remain to bend public opinion.

I think we have seen plenty of proof of it here ! We have many liberals who think if it was on MSNBC or CNN it has to be a fact ! I remember those news anchors like Chet Huntley and David Brinkley, Walter Cronkite, as a child We thought they were so smart and of course they where right , or so we thought ! However then we wouldn't have dared to question if a teacher was correct either at that tender age we where taught children where to be seen not heard and we didn't question authority !
