NTFS it's better for compression and you can use larger file sizes and partition sizes on a single drive then you can with FAT32 (dont format to FAT it's a memory card format and you wont be able to install anything on FAT, but will on FAT32)

NTFS is much better because a wider range of OS are compatible with it or have software to access the format.

i would go for NTFS. it's much faster and reliable. Also I would have two partitions, one to hold all the main system info, and the other for media. it makes things easier when running virus scans and reformatting a partition. you dont have to take your whole system down. just that partition. its saved my ass quite a few times

If you're going to install Windows (2000, xp, vista, 7) go for NTFS. Faster, and a lot more effective.

NTFS is better FAT32 will not format to over 32 Gigabytes while NTFS will go up to 2 Terabytes also fewer viruses are able to access the NTFS drives
