okay im not computer saavy so this might sound stupid. i guess i need to back-up my files? or something like that? how do i do that? and then do i just pop the xp disc in install or what? please just a detailed (in simple english) intruction on how to do this.

Yes back up what files you want to save first, but installing it is pretty easy.

Burn a CD using Nero, Easy CD Creator, or Windows Media Player with your important documents and pictures on it and then install Win XP. There is an option during install to keep your existing data on there but you might as well keep a backup just in case.

save backup your hard drives then go in setup and manage boot sequense keep cd room on first position then put the cd in cd room and follow the instructions ..

first take backup of your all drive and then ask for some computer expert and format your pc and install your windows xp. also u can refer the microsoft site how to install xp. it will help you.
