I have a D-link WBR-2310 Wireless router. I havn't used it in a while since I had AT&T modem that had wireless in it. But NOW that I switched to a different provider, I needed my Dlink to provide me the Wireless signal as my new modem from earthlink doesn't have any wireless capabilities.
I used teh IP address on the back of it and tried to login with the login ID "admin" and no password, but that doesn't work. How do i get it to reset if there were any old passwords that i had on the Dlink, so I can set up the wireless.

yes reset the router and the passwords should be ADMIN also 192.168.1.1 is what you type into the address bar to find the router, then just go through the set up using a wired connection and then disconnect it and you should be wireless

There is most likely a reset button on the back of the router. Also go to Dlinks website and get the PDF form of your user manual. Find the section to Restore Factory Defaults. Then just login to the router with the default username and password. That info will also be in that user manual.
