Default If I choose a website, to web host me, should I still deal with copyright, trademark

& other legal formalities? I want to have my own website , and I heard that register.com is a good one, they will provide you with technical support , they can even help you design your website? But what about the legal part ?Where should I start to deal with it , if I have to deal with it? Do I have to pay Taxes? and how to get companies like Mastercard and Visa in my website so that I can receive payments? Thank You

I used Register.com a long time ago and they are a pain! Do not use them because their prices are way too high & lacking good service. Then they make it way too hard to keep your domain name when you switch. I use EasyDCH now and they are great. Great prices, increadable services, uptime guarantee, and 24/7 live human support.

Now, you don't deal with Mastercard and Visa directly, you'll need a Merchant solution. But EasyDCH helps you with that, you can use PayPal or get a merchant account.

    http://easydch.com for the web address.
    http://ezdch.com/sitebuilder to build a website.
http://ezdch.com/storebuilder to build an online store.
    http://ezdch.com/merchant for Merchant accounts.

Now the legal part is tricky depending on where you are and exactly what you are doing with the website. Depending on how much money you are making you could just report it as income on your personal taxes. Or it may be more advantageous to make it a separate entity, such as LLC or Corp. But, either way you should try to keep detailed records of expenses in this venture and if necessity use an accountant or other accredited tax professional. You can also check your local Chamber of Commerce for assistance.
